Chris Stone has wanted to play college football for as long as he can remember. Playing for the Warhawks of Daleville High, Stone never expected to have the chance to play in the SEC, but after a solid camp showing during the month of June the hope of playing in the Southeastern Conference took a big step towards reality when the Bulldogs of Mississippi State extended a scholarship offer.

Bowie Connection Comes Through Again

Oklahoma State tapped into the successful football program at Arlington (Bowie), Texas a year ago by signing wide receiver Montra Nelson and defensive tackle Diamonte Wheeler. Now we have confirmation from Bowie athlete Quentin Sargent has pledged to the Cowboys as a member of the Class of 2011.

Black Gaining Early Attention

Top SEC and ACC schools are already giving some major attention to 2012 wide receiver Chris Black. At 5-11, 170 pounds, Black will be a desirable addition to any offense with a potent combination of lightning speed and dynamic skill. The rising junior at First Coast High School in Jacksonville says FSU leads right now. Florida and Clemson finish out his top three in that order.
