Lyons Cuts List To 14

Ft. Lauderdale Dillard star safety Wayne Lyons has attracted scholarship offers from nearly every Division-I school in America, and he has made the first cut to his favorite list. Lyons has narrowed his list to 14 schools, and will look to cut that number further by fall. Bill Greene has the schools that are still in the running for Lyons.

Johnson Is Huge Pick Up For Cowboys

As we have suspected, Lyndell Johnson of Plano (East), Texas has made a commitment to Oklahoma State. Johnson was up with his friend Desmond Roland of Dallas (Lake Highlands), Texas on an unofficial visit Saturday. The 6-3, 190-pound Johnson is absolutely a perfect prospect for the "star" linebacker position at Oklahoma State that goes to a hybrid linebacker/safety prospect.
