Floyd Ready For More Action In Recruiting

Syracuse grabs commit from Miami linebacker

Despite playing for a nationally-ranked team last year, Miami (Fla.) Central linebacker Oliver Vigille was somewhat of a sleeper headed into spring ball. However, the 6-foot-2, 205-pound defender impressed college coaches enough to earn offers from Syracuse, South Florida, Florida International and Central Florida. On Monday, he made a commitment.

Possible Late Addition

Although he is eligible under NCAA rules, South Carolina 2010 signee Brandon Golson (6-2, 205, 4.5) is not able to get into school there and has plans to visit the University of Arkansas this weekend and thus possibly still play in the SEC.

Tino Thomas is one of the best prospects from the Memphis metro area. The Melrose standout holds seven scholarship offers including three from the SEC. The list of suitors appears to be on the verge of growing even more and as a result Thomas plans to take a very deliberate approach to the recruiting process. The gifted corner wants to avoid a rash decision.

Kendrick Market is one of the more intriguing prospects in the state of Mississippi. He is well known throughout the state as a play maker on one of the state's top teams, South Panola. Despite his high level of play on the prep level, college offers have been hard to come by. Kendrick hopes to change that with some strong camp showings over the course of the next two weeks.
